Two Urgent Action Alerts: HF 253 and SF 7 Being Heard in House and Senate Committees
    On Monday, March 23, 2009 the Civil Justice Committee in the Minnesota House of Representatives will meet to discuss House File 253. Then, on Tuesday, March 24, the Minnesota Senate Committee on Agriculture and Veterans will hold a hearing on Senate File 7, the companion bill to HF 253.

    Following the merging of language from different bills intended to regulate commercial dog breeding in Minnesota, these bills have been gaining support in the House and Senate. These two hearings can help ensure the bills meet the necessary committee deadlines of March 27, and thereby help the bills to remain viable. Therefore, your action is urgently needed.

    Please contact the members of the Civil Justice Committee and the Committee on Agriculture and Veterans and ask them to support HF 253 and SF 7.
