I am really excited to be announcing a wild and crazy contest that will help spread the word about important animal issues. What issues, you may ask? Well, frankly, that is up to you.
Have an idea for a tee-shirt that speaks out about puppy mills? Factory farms? The intelligence of animals? All you have to do is put the design together, according to the specifications below and submit it to Animal Ark's Online Store. Shortly after being submitted, your design will be turned into a variety of products, from shirts and caps to yard signs, beer steins and coffee mugs.
The contributors whose designs sell the most will be given certificates to spend at the online store!
Designs must be submitted by October 20, 2008. Sales for all designs will be measured for completed sales during the month of November. The designers of the top 2 selling designs will each receive $100 worth of FREE ONLINE SHOPPING at the store. Hint: this is a great way to design your own holiday gifts for your animal-loving family and friends!
The basic rules: No third party copyrighted images, logos or registered slogans can be used in the designs. No obsene or offensive (determined by Animal Ark) material will be allowed. The designs can include any combination of pictures, graphics, cartoons and text to communicate a message relating to animals in some way. They should be submitted via THIS FORM on or before October 20, 2008.
Design specifications: The sky is the limit, almost. Generally, most products can accomodate designs that are made to be 10 inches by 10 inches at 300 dpi. Images made at this size/resolution will scale to fit most any of the available merchandise in the store. If you would like to design for a specific type of merchandise, you can get a complete list of the products available, as well as design templates for them here.
