Beginning June 16, 2007 Animal Ark began hosting mobile adoption events for homeless pets in and around the Twin Cities area. The goal of the effort is simple: increase the numbers of adoptions from local shelters and rescue groups. Doing so, we believe, will help reduce the number of animals destroyed in area shelters. Beth Nelson, from Animal Ark, who helps to kick off the program said, "We are thrilled to be using the Animal Ark Neuter Commuter in this new and creative way at locations around the Twin Cities metro area. This arrangement will help us introduce more homeless animals to more potential new homes."
